Bridging Photonics and Electronics

Events • 11 December 2024

The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Workshop, “Optoelectronic Interfaces for Integrated Silicon Photonics: Bridging Photonic and Electronic Domains from the CAS Perspective,” hosted by the Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla (IMSE-CNM), offered a key platform for discussing advancements in optoelectronics and photonics technologies. Leading experts gathered to explore the potential of these fields, and we were honoured to join the conversation. Our CTO, Stijn Goossens, actively represented qurv’s vision and expertise on a distinguished panel, engaging directly with thought leaders and innovators.

Our strategy emphasizes the seamless integration of academic advancements with industry needs, which is central to our mission. We believe that close collaboration between research institutions and businesses is essential for driving meaningful innovation. These partnerships help transform groundbreaking discoveries into practical, scalable applications. This approach enables us to develop prototypes and demonstrators that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the fields of photonics, quantum technologies, and autonomous systems.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to shaping the future of these industries. We aim to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and adapt research to meet evolving market demands. Events like this workshop reaffirm our dedication to advancing optoelectronic interfaces. Through these efforts, we help develop new solutions for high-speed communications, quantum information processing, and photonic-enhanced computing. We are excited to continue pushing the limits of technology and contributing to the future of photonics and optoelectronics.
