DESCRIPTION
2DNeuralVision is an EU project uniting seven research centers and innovative companies to create components for low-power computer vision systems, specifically designed for adverse weather and low-light conditions. Over three years, this project will develop a two-dimensional enhanced wide-spectrum image sensor and an optical neural network using graphene and 2D materials.
The application of these 2D materials will facilitate the creation of smaller, more functional devices, leading to significant advancements in computer vision across multiple sectors, including automotive and mobile technology. By reinforcing European leadership in the digital supply chain, 2DNeuralVision aims to establish a robust industrial presence in a greener digital ecosystem.
The project is expected to yield transformative improvements in computer vision capabilities, enhancing safety and efficiency in applications like autonomous driving and robotics.
