DESCRIPTION
The QSTACK project aims to develop low-power, heavy-metal-free, wide-spectrum image sensors tailored for computer vision applications. By integrating innovative materials such as colloidal quantum dots (CQD) with CMOS technology, the project addresses limitations of current silicon-based sensors, which operate solely in the visible spectrum.
The innovative approach seeks to achieve ultra-low power consumption and high sensitivity across a broad spectral range, catering to industries like automotive and consumer electronics. By developing a lead-free CQD stack, the project also meets regulatory requirements for high-volume adoption.
QSTACK’s advancements promise to break barriers in image sensing technology, enabling new applications and improving performance across various sectors.
